I have always thought that receiving a handmade card is so special, the sender has put in time and effort to make that card for you, a unique card just for you. This encouraged me to make cards for birthdays and Christmas for family and friends.
After doing some research, I found that Christmas gnomes have become really popular, not just for Christmas but for all occasions. So I decided to create a family of gnomes that could be increased or decreased to represent the individual families and friends families.
The feedback that I got from these cards was so positive, encouraging me to create other unique card ideas that I will be able to use throughout the year.
I have had a few customers approach me asking if I could create cards that showed them at Christmas time that they could send to family and friends during this festive period. I used an app on the Ipad to sketch out the individuals and added Christmas jumpers for that Christmassy feel.
Both sets of customers were delighted with the cards and I received excellent feedback from them, and it is definitely something that I am hoping to recreate in 2021.
