Hi my name is Sonea, I live in Birmingham with my husband Jai and our four children, Shaan(9), Taaj(8), Roop(5) and Jai(3). We have been married for 12 years and I have mainly focussed my creative energy on the endless DIY projects we have started all over the house, some successful and some not so much.
I have mainly worked in recruitment, but after having my eldest two I decided that I wanted to be more present, so my husband and I embarked on a journey where we bought a business and ran that for a few years. It was only when my third child was expected that I decided I would like to stay at home and watch them as they grew.
I was very career minded when I was in my 20s and had you told me then that in my 40s I would be a stay at home mum starting a new path, I would not have believed you…but here I am…as they say everything happens for a reason.
So this website and blog have been borne out of all things crafty, I wanted to be able to share ideas and stories with like minded people, I am hoping to post about all sorts of homemade crafts for family, friends and children.
